Music is the inspiration to the soul, it's what keeps me going!
I can never live a boring work day without music, nor can i work without music
That is why music, especially piano pieces inspire me so much
There are many pianists out there, all with different styles, techniques, and taste. Some of the few pianists i admire are David Sides, who does wonderful covers of modern RnB music; David Lanz, Jeffery Michael, and the latest to my list, Yiruma, a Korean pianist who plays really beautiful music. One of my favourites being "Kiss the Rain", which you could listen on youtube
hereI've tried doing my own compositions, and i'm still working hard on it! But there's so much more i have to improve on, like trying out different styles, different methods.
Like it is said, music reflects one's ideas, thoughts, emotions. Now if only all that could be put into the music i make when my fingers touch the keys of my piano.

The many hustles and bustles that all goes through.
Never before has my planner been so packed, week after week!
Projects during the weekdays, work during the weekends, i'm having the time of my life!
Besides the projects...
You get to work with other people you haven't really worked with before, you see the different styles and ideas that surface. But i'm glad our group is really open and receptive to new ideas, and willing to try things out, even when the going gets tough.
Tough as everything may be, there is a time for work and play (Though we've been playing ALOT!) But it's great working together!
I love being busy, I don't know why, but probably keeping myself busy and tiring myself out keeps me away from the many thoughts that cross my mind everyday. For example, the bills I have to pay. (GAH!!)
Being busy also gives me a goal in life, like there are things you have to achieve and that is what keeps you going! Setting goals, having aims.
Ironically, sometimes I wish this sem would pass soon, I wanna focus on better things in life. There are so many things I wanna do, like picking up dance again, focusing on music, and also composing my own piano pieces. Composition is really not as easy as what you hear processed on CDs. It really takes inspiration and trying it out to achieve a good piece of music. To me, music really heals the soul.
