I took my usual bus route home today from Bishan Bus Interchange, and I was greeted with a rather shocking scene. The bus looked entirely different from the norm! These are the buses specially furnished by courtesy of Nokia.

The backseats

The frontseats
Sitting in a lavishly furnished bus with the seats splashed with the elegance of white really created a classy atmosphere, really something that you don't get to see (Or sit in) everyday!
Aside to that,
Huishan came back from Japan this week to spend her holidays, and the gang met up once again (After a long while). It really brought back memories of the time where we still conquered Sony Gallery Orchard.
How melancholic
But yep, it always gives you the feeling of melancholy whenever you meet up with your old pals.
We ate, we drank, and we chatted into the night, of course we took snapshots too! Huishan, Joelen and I were the earliest, followed by Chris, then the others.

Chris here seemed rather happy to see us

And a last group photo before we left the place
It's funny how everyone's paths cross, and how everyone parts their ways eventually. It's always up to the human spirit to keep the flame of friendship burning, and it definitely takes effort from both sides.
As Nelly Furtardo sings, "Why do all good things come to an end?"

Just being alive is such a wonderful thing - Aya Kito1 litre of Tears is a Japanese drama based on the true story of Aya Kito who was diaognised with Spinocerebellar Degeneration at the age of 15. Since then, She kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen. Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up. She shed tears many times, at the same time encompassed by the rich love and support from her family and friends.
The drama brought out the essence of the message they wanted to portray - That life was precious. The simple yet realistic plot also showed the harsh and cruel society that we live in today. But it also showed that no matter what happens, one must always have the will to live and move on, for time never stops ticking, the world never stops revolving. It is you that will stop the track you want to lead, no others.
Life Versus Death. A contraversial topic with different perceptions. There's always the irony where those who want to live so badly, die, and those who are blessed with the gift of life, choose to end it.
But why?
The other side of suffering Everyone feels pain. But surely, after suffering, satisfaction will arrive.Even with sports, studying or other ordeals with life, It's like that for everyoneIf we can beat the pain, on the other side, a rainbow of happiness awaits usThat will definitely become a treasureLet's believe in thatStep by step When my existence seems to disapear,I will look for the place where i can do the best i canFrom now on, i'll deliberate slowlyI won't be impatient, I won't be greedy I won't give upBecause everyone takes things step by step
I really need to brush up on my writing... I don't feel I write as well as I used to...

The Joys of celebrating the birthdays of my friends?
Priceless.
Met up with Belle and Ivana on monday night after work to celebrate Ivana's birthday! She's 19 years old now. Officially a year older than me before my birthday comes in another 7 months! (Hur hur...) But sadly, Ning couldn't make it. =(
We had dinner at Sakae Sushi and each had our turn at talking about the funny and infuriating moments we've had at work. Its always fun to be complaining together with the right company!
We took a couple of shots before we decided to foot the bill (Which wasn't really expensive at all for we only had 15 plates of sushi altogether!) It was too bad that we had to part so early as all of us were tired out from a day's work and had to go back to work the very next day as well.

Ivana opening her gift...

Ivana sees her gift
And cries tears of joy!
And so we left the place and headed home, where another surprise was awaiting her!
A cake was brought to the table as the birthday girl hid in her room.

And that was the end of the day. Not just any other day, but the day we celebrated my good ol' friend's birthday!
Aside to all that...
I'm YEARNING for a PS3 windbreaker...........

Woman: "You all should do something about the long queue (Pointing to Sony Ericsson)"Me: "For Sony Ericsson and Sony Gallery, We are actually two different shops."Woman: "And how is one supposed to know?"Me: "Well, Now you do. (Biatch)"The attitudes of Singaporeans nowadays are just terrible. And I only told her that surfing the net (On our Laptops) was not allowed! I'm also ashamed myself as a Singaporean to say that I really feel that the intelligence of people seem to be dropping, especially within these recent weeks.
Just Monday, Someone pointed to a glass panel and asked his wife if that was the exit, whilst another asked me to decipher the Japanese (Kanji) words in a Playstation 2 Game for him.
The stupidity of the many customers i see everyday never fails to leave me in awe.
It may be just me, or it's just the air that we're breathing that is causing the massive intelligence drop in people. Or it may be the high-standard education in Singapore that is getting to the people's heads.
Anyways, putting those of-whom-do-not-concern-me aside, the FTP gang went to Swensens on Monday as we were closed early for the Isetan Dinner and Dance! Well the Full-timers had other things to do before dinner, so the part-timers (Wee Hong, Jason and I) had loads of time to burn!
We treated ourselves to Old Chang Kee's curry puffs, had Tea at Ah Mei before heading down to Swensens to book places for the gang. Before which we took some rather crazy shots outside of paragon:

Wee Hong preferred taking the shots, so Jason and I ended up doing the silly stuff,
in the middle of Orchard Road! When we reached Swensens, We waited a little more when Cassandra arrived too! We spent quite a bit of time catching up with each other and cam-whoring a little bit more too!

After almost 2 Hours of waiting for the rest to come (Which included satisfying our hungry stomachs with fries and calamari rings and water) the gang arrived! And we took a group photo, though it was incomplete, but that was all there was to it:

It was a hearty meal full of jokes and laughter, and one of the many gatherings in Sony that i've enjoyed.
I really Hope that there is more of this to come.
