I shall start off my first post on my new blog with a quote from the movie, "
Tuesdays with Morrie""It is only when you learn to die, will you learn to live"I watched this movie back when i was still in my first semester in year 2. It was definitely one movie that had instilled thoughts that kept churning in my mind.
Today, i watched it again...
Well i would say, after watching it once (And shedding lots of tears), and reading the book, I didn't show much emotion the second time i watched this movie.
But before I go on, here's a rough synopsis of the movie:
Morrie is a professor specialising in Sociology at a university. Mitch Albom is a man with a career that keeps him on his toes most of the time, and his life was pretty much filled with deadlines. He had made a promise to his good old professor that he would keep in contact with him after graduation, but this was a promise he failed to keep.16 years later, Mitch learns that Morrie is suffering from Lou Gherig's Disease and won't live for long. He finally makes a trip down to see his Professor, who teaches him the last and final lesson on life and all it's big questions. Life's most important lesson is just about to begin, and classes were on Tuesdays, held at Morrie's humble abode
The Movie
The Book
Many a times we will stop to think, "Just what is the meaning of life, and what has life got in store for us?" "Why are we put through so much, while others don't go through as much?"
"Why do people choose to do things that we never thought we would do in the right state of mind?"
These are questions that we would ponder upon time and again as our life flashes by. But yet, there are so many different answers
But in reality, life, to me, seems like a route with many choices. Everyone takes a route different from the other
I ended my last blog because i chose to, and I started this blog, because I chose to start it up again. I love to write, and thus, the result of my choice - This blog
This burns down to one word:
Choices
Me
I can be quiet
I can be loud
I can be reserved
I can be wild
I hate deception
I hate lies
I hate betrayal
All in all, No matter what happens,
Life still goes on =)
Life is like a puzzle;
Constructed, connected and arranged piece by piece;
Clench the teeth with perseverance;
All the suffering will end eventually;
